Spring Break Camp 2010   —  March 30 and April 1 – 9:00 – 12:15 pm

Farm Time: Children will carry out basic farm chores and be taught care of the animals.  We will work on leading the alpacas, riding Daisy- our horse, and caring for the chickens. Depending on weather we will do some trailblazing in the woods and children will help begin to prep the gardens, and will learn about soil, planting, and caring for various cold weather veggies.

Yoga Class: Children will discuss the theme of the day and then learn asanas (poses), breathing, and relaxation methods through books, songs and games.  Yoga mats will be provided.  (Children are welcome to bring their own mat if they have one.)

Arts and NatureChildren will participate in outdoor art classes along with nature appreciation.

15 minutes between each session for restroom breaks, free play, and snack time. Fresh fruit/vegetables/organic snacks will be offered.
