Farm Day – Animal Tracking

 Monday, February 19th 2018   9:00a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Join us for some outdoor fun at the farm !

We’ll start with some “Wake me up! Warm me up!” yoga in the yoga house. We’ll stay inside just a bit longer to learn about identifying animal tracks.  We’ll head outside to make a pancake breakfast.  And then off we’ll go – exploring to find tracks around the pasture areas and the woods.  If there is fresh snow it will be wonderful! But no worries – There are perfect muddy areas in the woods to find tracks if there is no snow.

We will also interact with the farm animals, do some chores during our day.  Activities may vary a bit depending on weather. Children may opt to stay outside more of the day if weather permits. Our goal is to be outside as much as is reasonable and comfortable.

We will have pancakes and fruit for snack. Water is available at all times.

Spring staff will include owners, “Farmer Brad” & Julie Swenson –certified teacher/administrator, & certified social worker, certified in First Aid/CPR), and additional staff as needed.
